Connect for Service Aggregators is a middleware communication mechanism between two different applications. It enables communication between a facilities management and service management software solutions.
Its design makes it a “plug and play” framework and the process of transferring information between non-integrated applications can be configured to accommodate other service industry products on either side of the Connect Service Aggregator components.
Configure and maintain the integration from the Admin Portal. Add or remove users, define the environment, and the rules for transferring data from one software application to another.
Set up and maintain server and database information.
Access the results of the data transfer process. Failure logs are available and a transaction can be reprocessed from here after the cause of the failure has been corrected.
A Connect database is required for temporary storage, data manipulation, failure logging, and setup
The web service is the work horse of this application. It performs the logic that transforms the incoming data to the information the ERP expects. It can also relay information from the ERP to the other application.
Add and delete users and set up security for the users.
Define the data mapping and transformation required for the communication between these two applications. The communication can be bi-directional.
The windows service monitors information from the ERP that needs to be communicated back to the other application. It runs on a pre-defined schedule.
